Not much change with my Mom.  We are looking at getting her up to the Cleveland Clinic for diagnostic testing.  She had a horrible night last night and I can't imagine how difficult it must be for not only my Mom but my Dad.  Watching someone you love in so much pain makes you feel helpless and I would think since nights are my Mom's worst that he's exhausted.  

I am getting FJ into a routine now and he is sleeping 5 hours the first round and 3 hours every feeding after.  If only we could find something to help my Mom.  Thank goodness I am off work until January so I'm able to help my Dad out during the days so he can go to work. It feels as if the medical field has given up on her.  I'm so frustrated and I just want a doctor to listen, really listen to her and not stop testing until he or she figures out a cause.  If any of you have every known anyone with the same symptoms as my Mom (on yesterdays blog) and know of a cause or treatment please let me know.  I hope and pray that we find something to help her and she can begin to enjoy this time with her grandson.  I know it will happen some day but she is my best friend and I cannot imagine my life without her.  I hate watching my Mom in so much pain.  Visiting her and being a listening ear to her struggles just does not seem like enough.  I want to be able to take her pain away.


Breakfast - 

3/4 cup Bran Flakes, 1/4 cup raisins

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch - 

2 tbsp. hummus with a 100 calorie thin bagel

Fat-free yogurt

Sugar-free jello


Lunch - 

3/4 cup strawberries

Dinner - 

*new recipe from Hungry Girl Cookbook

1 whole wheat tortilla, 1/3 cup refried beans, 1 tsp. taco mix, 2 tbsp. mild enchilada sauce, 1/2 slice of fat-free cheese with 1 tbsp. enchilada sauce and 1/8 cup fat-free cheese drizzled on top for 15 minutes at 350

Salad (mixed greens, mushrooms, croutons, tomatoes) 2 tbsp. light ranch

Snack - 

100 cal pack
